$50m Ikea Payout Over Toddler Deaths

Ikea has agreed to pay $50 million to the families of three toddlers who were killed by the brand’s dressers tipping over.  In addition, Ikea must donate $150,00 to children’s hospitals, donate $100,000 to a children's safety organization, meet dresser safety standards, and dedicate more resources to alerting consumers to tip over risk. The settlement will be split 3 ways.
