Verizon's Unlimited data is boosting subscriptions
RingPlus News Service Los Angeles July 27th, 2017:
Early in the year Verizon was having a hard time by witnessing surprising losses in cellphone subscribers. Today Verizon reported that it gained 358,000 subscribers over the last few months. These additions coming after their announcement of unlimited plans being back. A big turnaround from their reports from early in the year when they were losing customers faster than they were gaining. Their unlimited data offering essentially stopped and provided a timely turnaround in what otherwise could have lead to more users leaving Verizon.
At the time, Verizon reported to have lost around 400,000 users, but with the introduction of unlimited data offering, they were able to cut back the losses to 289,000. Now they are back to growing again after making up for their losses.
