We believe in good vibes all the way and just like everything else, at Tello, the porting process is easy:

  1. Once you’ve got your RingPlus account number, password, name & address (as they are listed on the phone bill), you’re ready to start. The great thing about this? Tello has no porting fee, so no worries here.
  • - Create an account on tello.com
  • - Go to Bring your own phone section and enter your ESN/IMEI/MEID. 
  • - If your phone uses a CDMA SIM, the one from RingPlus works on Tello too, just enter the SIM number and click ‘Check’.
  • - Last porting step: enter your phone number.

     2. If you don’t want to keep your old RingPlus number, you can just get a new one from Tello, and that will go smoother.

    I ported to Tello and initially opted for a $10 plan and paid $10+Tax. Few days later I downgraded my plan to a $7 but to my surprise I was again charged $7+Tax.
    My next billing date remained the same.
    Can you explain what is going on here?

    Thanks, Tello, for a painless porting process!   I started a port from a number just migrated to Ting this morning at 1:00 AM.  By 6:14 AM, I had the Welcome, Your Phone is Ready to Use email.   I'm looking forward to trying your service!

    Your unused allotments should roll over for 30 days.  The Tello site says:
    How can I upgrade/downgrade my plan?
    We understand you want to adapt a plan to your needs. Go to My tello Dashboard and change the plan as you wish. Once you complete the checkout process, the new configured plan will be active from that very moment. Any previous unused balance (SMS, minutes, data) will roll over the following 30 days. You can also upgrade/downgrade your plan using the "My tello" app.

    Is there a tutorial or video of your dashboard with features like alerts, ability to disable things like data. Even a screen shot would be nice.
